Vannah -- Vannah is only 15 years old, but is caring for five younger brothers and sisters after their parent's death from AIDS. Though I eventually coaxed a smile from her -- and her smile is radiantly beautiful -- she is clearly burdened by her situation. Vannah is involved in a girl's empowerment program sponsored by Kibera Hamlets, which has set her up in a small business selling sweets.
